Burgers, part II

This time it's chicken. After our last post, Owen's sister Emily sent us an alternative burger recipe (see her comment in previous post for the recipe). I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first given that my only previous experiences (being school cafeterias and summer camps) with poultry-based burgers have been flat, rubbery, dry and tasteless (their only purpose being vehicles for your condiment of choice).

However, I have warmed up to chicken burgers once again...these were anything but dry, rubbery and tasteless. I credit the rosemary-garlic mayo mixture added to the ground chicken before being made into patties.

Unless you have an aversion to rosemary and especially for those of us who had bad experiences with chicken burgers in the past, we recommend trying these out. Thanks Emily for the recipe!



The photo caught him chowing down on corn, but Owen enjoyed the burgers too.
